freelance photographer, which has taken him all over the world.
During 2003, he was based in Chile for 4 months as the expedition
Photographer for Raleigh International. Extensive trekking experience
all over South America and Africa in environments ranging from
snow capped mountains, through the blazing deserts, to deep
within the Amazon jungle. Mountaineering experience includes climbing
several Volcanoes / Mountains (Volcan Villarica in Chile, Mount
Potosi in Bolivia, and Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador amongst others).
Julien rarely spends a weekend in London, preferring instead
to be rock climbing or trekking. Even in everyday life, Julien
chooses to cycle over 20 miles to work and back.
Work experience includes multimedia design and distance learning
contracting for various large firms, including Channel 5, BBC,
OnDigital, PWC, Arthur Anderson and RBS Insurance. Julien has
a Masters in Photography and Film, achieved in 1999 and was
Asstant Director for a BBC pilot “Demon Wheels”
shortly afterwards.
